Accessing Online Journal Guidelines

ASAIO members may register and activate their account to view full-text content of ASAIO Journal at the journal web site www.asaiojournal.com. Your ASAIO member ID number, which is found on the mailing label of any issue, is required for activating your account by calling 1.866.489.0443 or by e-mail at memberservice@lww.com.

1. Visit the ASAIO Journal home page at www.asaiojournal.com
2. Select LOGIN from the main menu bar at the top of the ASAIO Journal home page
3. Under the Activate/Register option, click the Activate/Register button
4. Under Account Activation, click the Activate Account button
5. On the Account Activation page, enter ASAIO + your ASAIO member ID number (e.g., ASAIO6789) in the Account Number/Member ID text entry box. ASAIO member ID numbers can be located on the plastic wrapper mailing label affixed to your print journal packaging. A sample mailing label is provided below. If you are unable to locate your ASAIO member ID number, please contact LWW Member Services at 1-866.489.0443 or by e-mail at memberservice@lww.com

1. Enter the email address that you use for your online account in the Email Address entry box.
2. Click the Activate Account button. (Note: Upon submission, an email message containing a verification code will be delivered to the address you just entered. You will need to follow the steps in this email to verify your account information the next time that you visit and login to any LWWonline website.)
3. When your ASAIO member ID has been verified, you will be asked to complete and submit an Account Profile. You will be asked to submit mandatory account management information, assign a user name and password, and provide some other optional information also used for account management as well as to provide technical or customer support that may be required in the future. Special Note: Passwords are case sensitive.
4. If indicated, you may be asked to complete online account consolidation. Account consolidation is process by which users reconcile multiple online subscriptions to a single account. Based on the email address a user supplies at the time of initial account activation, the process identifies other titles that the user receives and then associates these with a single account.

Once you have activated your account and as long as your subscription is active, you may return to the journal website at any time and access the journal.

To access your online version of ASAIO Journal, please:

1. Visit the ASAIO Journal home page at www.asaiojournal.com
2. Select LOGIN from the main menu bar at the top of the ASAIO Journal home page.
3. Under the section noted as Login: subscribers, members & guest option, enter your:

Username:  [ ]        Password:  [ ]
Special Note: Passwords are Case Sensitive – you must enter the password exactly as you entered it when you activated your subscription.

Once you have activated your online access to Ear & Hearing, you may also wish to register for ASAIO Journal’s E-Alerts.  E-Alerts deliver an electronic version of the Journal’s Table of Contents, with HTML links, of the articles printed in the current issue.  This advance access to the articles, gives you the most up-to-date medical and scientific information available in your field.
To register for E-Alerts, you must have activated your online account to ASAIO Journal. Once you are an online user of Ear & Hearing:

1. Select E-Alerts from the main menu.
2. The e-toc subscription page will ask you to:

4. Select a message format:
   1. HTML
   2. Text
5. Click on Update

You will begin to receive your Table of Contents alert when the next issue of ASAIO Journal is scheduled for delivery.
